I offer both in-person and virtual sessions for individuals. I use a person-centered, psychodynamic approach. I work with each individual on issues that are identified as important, and the therapy is conducted in a collaborative manner. If appropriate, various relaxation techniques can be explored in session, and incorporated at home. After the focus of treatment is determined, the sessions are conducted in an open manner, with encouragement for individuals to talk about whatever is on their minds. Progress and change occur through increasing self-awareness in a safe, individualized setting.
